Calm, contemplative, and fun - Jason's demeanor and work ethic are as engaging as his craft. While serving as Director of Locations and principal photographer at Image Locations, Inc, Jason developed a keen eye for identifying the best selling points of a location, and a myriad of techniques and approaches to highlight them. Given that Image works regularly with magazines like Vogue and Vanity Fair, studios like NBC, HBO, and 20th Century Fox, and fashion clients like Calvin Klein and Dior, it's safe to say that Jason and the photographers he's trained excel at their work.

Over the years, Jason has come to call his ever-evolving mindset Adaptive Photography. Rather than force a strict style on the places he shoots, Jason utilizes whatever methods will best give the viewer the experience of "being there." In applying this process to other mediums, such as portrait and event photography, Jason eventually came to combine genres, successfully using models in location shoots to create moods and atmospheres not typically realized by architectural photographers.

His biggest challenge remains deciding what photo gear to take on weekend trips and vacations. While the struggle to find that perfect "travel kit" is ongoing, he thinks he kind of maybe almost has it. Apart from photography, Jason is a filmmaker and writer, and enjoys watching (and quoting) seminal 80’s movies such as Big Trouble in Little China. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, he currently lives in Nashville with his pet rabbit, Clover.
